The color was the biggest problem. I expected a more muted green...it turned out to be Kelly green. Too bright for me. I might have kept anyway if the fit was right..too small for me. The price was extremely good though, and the item was cute.

I think this is a nice transitional coat into spring and into early fall. Like the look and style. Would be nice if the buckles on sleeves and belt were metal instead of plastic. I do like this jacket, I've returned it once because of the fit being tight on the upper part of the sleeves and around the shoulders, ordered a larger size but now it's too large. I'll be returning it once more.

Loved the look but felt the fit was a little large when I tried it on. But I washed and dried it exactly as the label told me to and it shrunk. Now it fits good but the lining is larger than the coat which caused the lining to hang lower than the coat at the hem and sleeves. I still love the coat but I cannot wear it unless I pay to get the lining fixed.

I wanted a casual yet stylish cloth coat that I could wear with jeans or other casual pants during the Spring and Fall.
Needless to say the temperature here in the Midwest has been 15-20 degrees below normal, so I haven't reallly had a chance to wear it that much. But I love the color and the look. My only complaint is that the sizing may be a little off. But it is not such that I had to send it back for a larger size.

I am disappointed in the fabric - it doesn't have much body, I wouldn't risk machine washing and I'm concerned that it will lose shape with not much time - so it is not the value I was expecting. The detailing is nice and if a blend fabric with some body and ability to shed water had been used it would be great - a shame since it is the same amount of work to make it from a poor fabric as from a good one and little difference in cost. I am keeping it anyway because there are very few options for those of us who wear plus sizes, particularly in classic styles.

I got the green and waited for it to be in stock. Love the color. It's a great spring/fall lightweight jacket but I thought I was ordering a rain jacket. This has no finish on it nor is the fabric of the type usually found in "trench" coats. But I kept it. With coupons etc. promotions the price couldn't be beaten and it's a nice jacket.

I ordered the coat for a lightweight topper on cool and damp/rainy days. It was on backorder for weeks, but I really wanted the coat, especially the green one. I liked the color a lot. I ordered the size I usually order from Chadwicks. Unfortunately, this was really too snug, especially through the bust, where it gapped open, and the shoulders.The belt has a lightweight plastic buckle and I felt it wouldn't hold up. So, I was so disappointed, I returned the jacket to Chadwick's on Monday.

Having referred to the online comments regarding this coat, I ordered a size larger than I usually wear. (The comment said the coat ran small for the size). When I received the coat, I found that it's really a size too large. But I re-ordered it in the correct size.
Since when is 'watermelon' bright pink?
