this shirt is at odds with itself. the body is too short and the sleeves too long although once washed that corrected itself (it shrank quite a bit). I like the idea of this shirt....as a french terry it is lighter weight than a fleece sweatshirt and makes it a great summer long sleeved shirt. The colors I received were beautiful and there were great color choices. But the shirt was not oversized as stated. I love that it is 100% cotton. I am keeping them because I am losing weight (75# already!) and they will hopefully fit soon....this shirt did not meet the quality I usually find from Chadwick's.

I love the idea of this shirt..and the colors available..and the fact it is 100% COTTON which is often hard to find in something other than regular t-shirts..the sleeves are long...which I like because often sleeves seem a bit short......but the body is not oversized as stated and is very short. I like that is has more weight than a regular type t-shirt but not as heavy as a fleece sweatshirt making it perfect for summer. The fabric has no stretch to it what so ever which is common with french terry and I was not expecting it but a bit of stretch might help make it fit better. I will be returning the items I ordered unfortunately because I love the colors.

I have three of these "sweatshirts" and love them all. They aren't a true sweatshirt material,as they aren't lined with fuzzy stuff (excuse my technical term - lol.) I get warm easily and like the lighter weight. The neck is not too high, like a traditional sweatshirt, and the length is high hip. I find that complimentary for me.

As others have noted, the shirt is shorter than expected; combined with the boxy fit, this means the shirt doesn't have much shape on the body and ends at a length (mid-hip) that's not the most flattering for those of us who wear plus sizes. On the other hand, it is quite comfortable.
I apparently got the version with the overlong sleeves - not a problem as the sleeves do roll up well. The sleeve cuffs are a bit odd as well - they aren't quite wide enough to be bell sleeves, but they are wider than normal.
All in all, this shirt seems a bit confused - LOL - a lot of "not quite this but not quite that either." I wouldn't have paid full price for it, but at the clearance price for an all cotton knock-around-the-house type shirt that isn't as heavy as a sweatshirt but has a bit more weight than a t-shirt, it works for me.

I love these shirts, however, the sleeve sizes are never the same. Some are too tight and too long, while others are too short. Manufacturer should closely monitor these areas to assure we get the same sizes each time we buy. When I first starting buying these shirts the sleeves were actually "over-sized" as advertised but lately none of the sleeves fit that description.
Don't bother buying this!

I will be travelling abroad where it's chilly.
