No, I would not recommend this to a friend
this top was so weird on me. The chest fit ok, but the stomach and lower back were extremely paunchy. I returned it and didn't bother w/ an exchange: I think I got a size too big (the 6/8) but I don't think ordering down (4/2) would fix the way this fits me. there was A LOT of excess material.
