The picture doesn't show the texture of the fabric too well - so I was surprised when I first got it. But for the money it is a very well designed and extremely warm coat. I used to wear an additional layer under it because I don't like to feel the cold at all - but you really don't need it. I wouldn't wear it in bad weather - I'd be afraid to damage or discolor the fabric - it is not weatherproof - but if you treat it it'll probably be fine.

It has been 15 years since I purchased a coat from Chadwick but that is only because that is how long the coat's have lasted! I am excited to wear my new coat to Spain next month. It looks great and wears well. I have referred other travelers and professionals to the website. I want to thank the management team and buyer on keeping the quality high and the prices low.
