I bought it in white. Wish it had pockets. See-through-ness can be overcome by wearing with pettipants or the like, perhaps a thong. The length is on the long side, as I prefer it. Waist can be rolled for a more contemporary casual look. I think the initial slight scratchiness will lessen with fabric softener. I bought a size larger (10). These are not wide pants but not tight either. Seem like great pants for hot weather or the BEACH!

I had on ly one problem withthese pants and it was with thekaki ones I purchased the draw-string broke and also I have problems keeping them up tight around waist
