I couldn't find purplish beads at any department or discount stores, but Chadwicks had them - and they are so fashionable and gorgeous! I purchase from Chadwicks for myself, as well as my two daughters, one in college and one who just graduated from college. It is fun to give them an amount and let them shop Chadwicks for "designer-type" clothing. Nice chunky necklace. But I returned it because I'm petite and chunky necklaces like this just don't look right on me. However if you are looking for something chunky this is pretty good value.

I hesitated to order these beads because I was concerned they'd be bulky and I'm petite. I also feared they'd be plastic-y and chintzy. I'm glad I took the plunge; these babies are great. They're the perfect size and they have the look of natural wood. I ordered the dark brown and they're much lighter than the pic which is great because they'll compliment most any outfit. Also, the length can be adjusted with the cord. Great bargain! Get 'em while you can.
