This is just too hard to wear...it wrinkles in a hardbeat and then there are folds and folds of fabric to iron. I bought it months ago and have only worn it twice.

Returned to seller. This skirt was hideous on me. The hips were almost too tight and the waist was very, very loose. I cannot imagine how it could possibly flow like it appeared to do in the picture. The long seams on the pleats made a thick fitted shape almost to the knees, then it stuck out everywhere below that -- it seemed almost wadded up. The fabric was much to stiff to be flow-y.

This is one of the nicest skirts that I have purchased in quite some time. The color, style, and fit make it practical for day or evening wear. The color matches well with other hues. The style make it possible to wear in spring, summer, and into fall. It is slimming without being inappropriately tight.

The skirt is a very nice one, however, you should buy a size up. It fits a bit smaller than expected. Nonetheless, it is a very elegant skirt.

I really like this skirt, aas did my family (of course i twirled with wild abandon when i tried it on for them) it is kind of fitted at the top, then has these wide tulip gores. the material is light, and the same as the lining - cotton or cotton rich, i forget, but it is light like batiste, and just lovely. i got it a size larger because i like LONG skirts, and i am glad i did order up - it sits down a bit from my true wasit and the length is where i like it. the only thing i dont like about the skirt is the embroidery - it is pretty anough and well done, but it is distracting , and kind of looks like a back tattoo or something. i just wear a long blouse or just ignore it, haha and it is fine. i may get the other color too, as it is just such a fun pretty skirt.
I would buy this product again

I love the olive color of the skirt and the way it's made. It looks lovely on this short 5'4", size 18 body. My only complaint is that in the description it mentions embroidery but it doesn't show up in the picture unless you really look close. The embroidery is done by machine in an off white color. And to me it takes away from the skirt. I am keeping the skirt simply because I love everything else about it. I am in the process of removing the embroidery with a seam ripper which has turned into a bigger job than I thought it would be. I am still satisfied with the skirt though and can't wait until I can wear it.

It is a very fun and nice skirt to wear. You have to be willing to deal with all the material and ironing. The waist was very small and I have to zip it up really high, and if I didn't zip it up that high it would be too long even though it is petite and I'm 5'2''

I didn't expect to like this skirt as much as I do! I was surprised that it was fairly fitted around the waist and hips but the fit is very good and quite flattering.
The fullness in the bottom is very cute and the embroidery is pretty but not distracting. The length makes it very versatile. I plan to use it for summer travel but I can see it paired with tights and worn to a casual workplace.
Like another reviewer noted, it arrived very wrinkled but after steaming, I'm very happy with it, though I wish it was available in darker colors.

I bought this because it is a full skirt with a gazillion gores and it is fully lined. It also appeared in the photos to be fairly long. It is fairly true to the photo but I still wish for even longer skirts (ankle-length would be good). This skirt hits several inches above the ankle (but below the knees) for me. The main letdown however is that it came (or rather they came since I bought both colors) very wrinkled and it took me an hour to press out both skirts. Each one has so much fabric to iron and the wrinkles didn't come out so very easily. Once they were ironed and I got to try them on though I certainly wasn't disappointed in them. I like the style of a more fitted upper skirt with a full bottom half. You can get the elegance of the full skirt without worrying that the layers of fabric will look unflattering to your waist and thighs. One more point: I really don't like machine embroidery and I'd have to say that these skirts were no exception. However, I realize that the design looks better at a distance where the embroidery really does look like roses and the cheapness of the work is not given away. I think selling these skirts in solids without embroidery would be an improvement however because then I could wear them more often. Embroidery details make these stand out more and that can be a good and bad thing since people would certainly notice if I wore the skirt twice in a week, given the standout contrast-color embroidery design. So, overall I am pleased and I'm just hoping that designers occasionally read the reviews for their products and, in this case, will start offering even longer (ankle-length)skirts. I wore this with the Georgette Dot Blouse from Boston Design Studio and a chic swing jacket from elsewhere. Pure fashion.

The skirt is very attractive. The embroidery work is very nice. The only problem was that the waist literally sat underneath my bust and didn't actually sit on my waist. In order to have the proper effect, I would have had to go up a size or two, which would make the skirt far too long. It was definitely stylish, but didn't fit my body right. I was disappointed [...]
