the skirt is cute, good quality, great price. not for a middle aged woman, tho!! was a little shorter than I expected, saved it for my daughter when she comes home from college.
I wanted to love this skirt but it's not what I would call a "true" a-line. The fit around the waist/hips is a problem. The skirt doesn't really flare out-- it's more like the slits in a standard skirt were patched up with some triangles of denim.
I think this skirt might be perfect for some but it was a miss for me.
This is a good casual skirt. It hits just above the knee, so it easy to wear. The material is a good weight and has a little bit of stretch. It's perfect for a t-shirt and sandals.
Great skirt, but the waist is not forgiviing if you have full hips.
Do you know how hard it is to find a knee length, denim, A-line skirt? Pretty hard. All the skirts I found were either mini, long, or pencil (if you're kind of hippy, pencil skirts are not good for your self esteem).
I wanted something that hit me at the knees. Something I could throw in the washing machine. Something I could wear with pretty blouses & ballet flats as well as with cotton tanks and flip flops.
This is so simple, and it works with almost everything in my closet. It's a teeny bit snug in the hips, but that's only going to motivate me to go to the gym and lose those final 5 pounds from the Holidays.
I work in a "business casual" office and wore the skirt to work with a sweater and black tights. I got several compliments that day. I wore it again one evening to a local playhouse and got compliments on it then as well.
I ended up returning the product due to the poor fit in the waist and hips.
