Wow!!! This is SO not what it was described as!!! I even went back and re-read the description to be sure that it wasn't my oversight! The front and back of the V-neck were RAW EDGES (WOW! How do ya think THAT's going to wash up???) and the bust had sequin detailing! Neither of these features were mentioned nor were they at all visible in the picture. I was so stunned when I saw it that I actually started laughing! I don't think I'll even consider any more La Redoute products!

I just got this dress today and it's going back. I got it in the gray with white flowers. There are two sequined flowers on each side, which you can almost see if you zoom in all the way. The sequins are a silvery, almost clear color, and they are stiched on lightly so they can be easily removed if you don't like them. The dress itself is pretty and fits well, BUT the cotton fabric is soooo flimsy. It is very thin and VERY SEE THRU. As far as the lenght goes they must use short models for the pictures because the length is only mid-calf and I'm 5'7". To sum it up: very pretty on the picture but not practical because of the extremely thin fabric. Not worth the money.

The dress was better than I expected except for the fact that around the collar where there is ribbon they forgot to sew in the seams on it. It is a very easy fix, so for the price it was a pretty good deal. Just a little maddening when you purchase something you expect it to be completely finished.

I am a long-time Chadwick's customer and this is the first time I have truly been disappointed in a purchase. The fact that the dress looks extremely attractive in the photo, the truth in the matter is the quality of the fabric is poor. The dress is paper thin and lacks character, style and appeal.

I use this product to stay cool outside and go places in with my kids. It is simple and not so heavy. I enjoy it. The length is perfect and around my chest it actually fits!!!!
If they had another in a pretty color I would have bought one.
It needs a slip under it because you can see through it. They need to put a sheer or cotton design slip on the inside so we won't have to look or buy a slip. That is the only con there is to this dress. Other than that I love it!!!

Fits great, looks flattering. The quality is a bit less than I expected, the neckline isn't even hemmed, as if its meant to fray maybe. It is really thin, but will be nice on hot summer days or as resort wear. I bought the grey, if I had bought the white I imagine you could possibly see through it. . . I might recommend it, depending on use.
