I really liked the dress. The lace on the top of the dress had frayed edges.I had to cut them off to make it look more put together. The size was perfect and fit like a glove. It is very, very comfortable. I would definately recommend this dress. If you buy this dress, you definately need a slip- even with the black.

I wore this to Atlanta for an evening at the museum, and it rained... I thought the date was going to be ruined, but instead of rain coming down on me, I was showered with compliments! This dress is a little too sheer to wear alone, but went PERFECT with a lace top I'd purchased about a year ago, that was the same color and practically style as the dress... it looked as if the two were a set (which dazzled people further when they found out otherwise). Awesome comfort, and ease of wear makes this outfit one less thing to worry about whenever trying to make perfect first impressions. I loved it! Just for those who don't have access to something to wear over it, a nice body slip underneath should help keep people from seeing more than you'd like. :)

I couldn't make a color decision so I purchased this dress in both colors, and I'm glad I did. The ivory one has a yellow cast to it (kind of a buttercup) but I truly like it. According to the size chart - this dress runs small. I needed this dress for a particular occasion and had it express shipped and it didn't work. It is not shaped like the dress in the picture - it is more of an empire waist - not at all what I wanted. I am returning both pieces that I purchased.

The dress looks pretty from the time you take it out of the packaging, and seems to hide any wrinkles in lace of the dress. I bought the black in a size 10, but it was not at all true to size. The straps were much too long for my average frame, and the waist billowed out, even though there was elastic gathering at the back. The criss-cross of the straps didn't fall right, either (because overall the dress was too big). I sent it back.

I ordered the ivory dress first, but not only was the dress a frayed-looking yellow, it was inappropriately see-through. Plus, since it wrinkles so easily, it honestly looked like some old threadbare thing I took out of my grandmother's closet that had been worn down by smoke and time. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because I still liked the fit and style of the dress, so I'm hoping the black will work a bit better. It just seems very poorly made compared to the picture on the website.
