I expected this item to be of a flat, thin, very soft material and the picture looks to me as though there is a slight variation or gradiation in the color from collar to hem. I was disappointed that the material is not what I would describe as combed cotton, although it is soft. The top is a ribbed top with small alternating with wide ribs and, even when the front snaps are fastened, the only way to have your chest covered would be to wear another top underneath. I intended to wear it over another shirt, but cannot due to the snug fit. I am a 38B and because of my shoulder and hip proportions, I tend to be on the border between a medium and a large; I have been ordering mediums recently with success, but this top fits me like a small would. For the price, its a simple top to wear around the home or to sleep in.

I can use this for work or casual...goes well with dress pants or with jeans. I like the ribbing in the fabric.

I love the fit and the fabric. It looks great with jeans and nice pants. Have ordered another one in a different color.
