I wear petite or small and ordered a medium, as other reviewers suggested. This sweater was so tiny, and I'm 4'10", 117 lbs. The v-neck was so deep it looked misshapen on me, and the sleeves were so tight I could hardly get them on. My neighbor took the sweater for her very tall 9 year-old daughter and it looked great on her. So disappointing because it's beautiful.

This is a beautiful sweater that I can wear to work or going out. However, I am very petite and usually size smalls are too big. This was a little tight, expecially at the wrists, I had a hard time pushing up the sleeves.

All argyle sweaters are NOT pretty, but this one is pretty and very feminine. I needed an xlarge. I wanted to wait for it to go on clearance, but decided to go ahead and just buy it! I am soo glad I didn't wait, because after I purchased the two I wanted in x-large, the x large were all sold the next day! It runs true to size, so I am unable to layer it. That is ok, since it's actually a sweater, and not a vest anyway.

Great color and it fits well -- but I ordered a size larger than usual because I did not want a tight fit. Glad I did, because the large is a perfect fit for me, and I'm usually a medium. I plan to wear with winter white pants - really classy-looking!

Ran very small!!! I usually wear a Large from Chadwicks,but this ran so small, I gave it to my 13 year old daughter. It is a beautiful color and looks wonderful on her. I ordered the sweater for a trip, but now she will look fabulous in it.

A very nice sweater but runs slightly small. If you have large arms this is not for you. Fortunately, I have thin arms so this sweater was perfect for me. I liked the first one I ordered that I ordered another in a different color.

The style of this sweater begs layering. However, when I tried to layer with a long sleeve blouse of my own, the fit of the sweater was all wrong and the sleeves were too tight. When I paired the sweater with a short sleeved blouse, the fit was better but not perfect. I would recommend if you want a layered look to either buy a Chadwick's blouse to try under the sweater or buy a size bigger than you would normally buy (i.e. I normally wear a small but should have ordered a medium for a more comfortable fit through the sleeves).

This is a great sweater. I have it in the green. It looks very nice with navy pants. The sweater shrank a bit after the first wash, but I purposely bought one size larger than usual, based on other reviews. It's an easy top to wear for work and play.

OMG!!!!!!! this is a very nice sweater but get ready to have your blood pressure check all day on both arms when you wear this sweater. this sweater is very tight on your arms. i will try and get the next size up hopefully that will work. i only recommend this sweater only if you have very very skinny arms--seriously.

It's so soft, it's like a cloud. The sleeves are a drop longer than I usually wear, but somehow it still looks great, and they're tight, so they outline the arm nicely. I wear it with a light shell underneath, to bring up the neckline a bit from the V-neck. I imagine a shirt would look great, too.
The colors are fabulous! Striking blue with a more muted green to set it off... Love it!

I mistakenly ordered a medium and that was way too tight, but I exchanged it for a large and it fits perfectly now. I bought the bright blue and I love the color! It looks great with white wool pants or skirt! In colder climates, it would look good with a white turtleneck!

I bought this sweater along with a white button up to wear underneath. The sweater was way too tight, and you could see the buttons of the shirt right through it. I wear a size L from everywhere else, but this sweater made my arms look like stuffed sausages! If you are considering purchasing, you should go up a size!!!

I read all the reviews, and decided to order one size larger. Glad I did, they we're right. It's cut small and has very little give. If you have thick arms, you may find the sleeves too tight. I happen to be a small petite and the arms are tight even though I ordered a Medium. The quality is nice even though it's Acrylic. It's warm, medium weight fabric and looks sharp! (The elbows have an Argyle patch, nice touch).

This is a very cute sweater. I layer it with a crisp white blouse under. I have had many comments on how cute it is. If you are in between sizes, I would go up. I have short arms so the sleeves are always to long on me. This is a problem with almost everything except petites.

A group of us ordered this sweater as a team sweater. We were looking for black and red. We were assured that in fact that is what this sweater was. When it arrived, we all found it to be black and salmon. This will not match our team colors. We sent them all back.

I'm usually very pleased with Chadwick's merchandise, however this sweater was a horrible fit. I ordered a medium (my usual size when I order from Chadwicks)and it felt as if I was trying to put on a child's medium! I could barely get the sweater on! I checked the sizing thinking you had sent the wrong size, but it was marked medium. I really like the style and colors in the sweater and returend for an x-large - a size I couldn't believe I was ordering, but maybe this might fit? What happened to your sizing?

This sweater is beautiful. The color is rich, but the sizing is really off...I had to return it and get a bigger size. What is really annoying is that the sweater is pictured be paired with a blouse which is the way that I like to wear these sweaters. Chadwicks does not offer a navy blouse. I had to search high and low to find one. So, I would recommend this sweater but buy a size larger.
