Description stated ramie & cotton; would have preferred a higher % of ramie. It is a nice-looking cable-knit sweater in a great color. Wish you had wool slacks or long skirt in the same color! It looks to be prone to snags in the fabric. It's not as soft as I hoped for nor as warm.

I don't like the new sizing switching size 12 into the "L" category; it always was in the "M" category (10-12). Since the American figure is heavier than ever before, what was the logic in that?

Sweater is a bit itchy but I think it will be taken care of in the wash. Nice colors, I own 3 of these. I will be wearing them a lot, as I do get cold easily. Nice layering piece for blazers and cardigans alike.

A little tight around the bust, and a little smaller in size than other sweaters I've purchased from Chadwicks. Not complaining, still fits fine, just make sure to let air-dry after washing so it won't shrink.

My daughter really loved the look of these sweaters in the catalog. To take advantage of a buy one, get one free offer, I ordered them in the only two colors still available in her size. She loved both colors, even though they would not have been her original choices. The flared sleeves and the matching patterns on the neck, band, and sleeves are unique and attractive. The sleeves are actually long enough, too, sometimes difficult to find for a tall person. The sweaters fit and look great!

I love the style and colors of the two mockneck sweaters I bought. However the cotten blend is not durable and one sleeve needed mending before I had even worn it.
After the first gentle wash the sweater looks VERY pilled and old. There are also a few frayed areas that will need mending to make it wearable again. This sweater is not the usual high quality I have come to expect from Chadwicks.

At first glance, I actually like the fit and feel of the fabric (it is thin and the arms are long so it may not be good for everyone). The reason I returned it is the color - I ordered paprika which looks like a dark orange on the website. It is actually a medium orange and looks sort of washed out. It's not a bad color, just not one that looks good with my skin. I really wanted a darker solid orange. I was going to exchange it for a different color, but after reading several reviews on it fading and shrinking after washing I have changed my mind. I don't want it if it can't be mashine washed as the label says it can.

I must say that I am VERY disappointed in this purchase. I bought this sweater after I recieved notice from Chadwicks that it had been a while since I had placed a order with them so I decided to purchase something, now I am reminded why I stopped buying from them in the first place. I washed this sweater (per the instructions) and it accumlated fuzzballs, some of the threads tore and after 1 wear and 1 wash it looks as if I have had this sweater for a year already. It looks better in the picture.

I wear this mostly with jeans, but it may certainly be worn with a casual skirt or dress pants as well. It has a very flattering fit, not tight, but not too loose either. It gives your waist a "nipped in" look. The material is a bit thin when you recieve it, but once you wash it, the fibers "plump up" and takes on a whole new look. I have it in 2 colors and just ordered another!

Haven't gotten a chance to wear it yet but I find it to be very delicate. Had a few threads hanging out from it and I had to very gently pull them thru the back. Will definitely wash in the delicate cycle.
Fits well except the sleeves are a little long on me but I just roll them up. I would wear this sweater going out with a nice pair of pants or skirt as well as with jeans.

Love the style and the colors of the sweater but the first time I wore it with black pants, ended up with white lint all over. If it didn't shed, would be an excellent item. Perhaps it'll do better with jeans....

These sweater was way too small for me. I ordinarily take a medium but I wasn't able to put it down over my chest. I ended up returning it, ordering extra large. It was slighly too big, but be aware, wash it in cold water only and don't dry it. I washed it in cold water and air dried it, but even so, it shrunk slightly and now fits perfectly. What will happen next time I wash it- your guess is as good as mine.

I bought two of these...one colored and one white. They both lost all of their appeal after one wash. The colored one faded terribly and lost it's shape even when washed and dried according to label. The white one looks like it's been worn every day for 10 years after a single laundering to instruction.

Wonderful feel, wonderful fit. I highly recommend this sweater to wear at work or with jeans. Very comfortable and I would wash with delicates and hang dry or dry flat.

This sweater is nice, but not something I would wear to work - which is what I bought it for. It is hard to describe what I don't like about this sweater - I can only say that it doesn't really fit quite right. The sleeves are just a little too long, the length just a little too short. The color doesn't really look right with my skin (I bought butter rum, and am a fair complected caucasian), and the mock neck goes a little too low on the collar.

I was very disappointed with the quality of this sweater. The colors seemed true to the picture, but it was very thin (you need to wear an undershirt with it). It looked as though it would start to fall apart after you washed it once or twice. Definitely not up to the standards I expect from Chadwicks.
