A WARDROBE PLUS

I bought the "black current" in PXL. I am 5'5" and usually wear a 14/16 reg misses. Everything about this sweater dress is great except for it being slightly different in color than what I expected. I ordered from last years catalog and thought it would be a dark, almost black, (as in BLACK Current) Aburgene/Eggplant color. (Wish they did have black. And a dark rich burgundy would be nice too.) While not what I expected, it is not a bright, purple dinosaur purple either. Also, the dress I received is not a heathery purple either,like the one in the newer catalog photo. Other than color thing, It is beautiful and appears well made. The Dress is not heavy but it is "substantial" in weight and so will not ride/float up or cling. Just hope it washes well. If I get another one I may go down a size. The PXL hits me just at or slightly below my knee.

very flattering

I bought this in chocolate last year. It is a very pretty dress, not too heavy, and very comfortable. Looks great with boots, like in the photo. I get compliments every time I wear it. It is true to size, too.

Love this dress!

This dress is very flattering, fits well and is quality made. I wish it would get cooler outside so I could wear it! I adore this dress! It is thick but not so thick that you are roasting it it.

classic comfort

I bought this dress last year in heather oatmeal as I don't own anything in that color. I was pleasantly surprised at how flattering the fit and color were. It also washes well. I plan to buy the other two colors. Wish it came in more colors.

Thick and Warm but Color Off

I am 5'6" and 115 lbs and I ordered this dress in Small Oatmeal Heather. Fit is pretty good, a little roomy. I expected a closer fit as pictured on the model, but it doesn't look too big. The fabric is fantastic -- very thick and warm. Looks great with tights and boots. The Oatmeal Heather color is also different than pictured...it's more of a tan than an oatmeal color. I was going to exchange it for one of the other colors, but both are sold out in size Small. I've decided to keep it because I really like everything else about the dress (and it doesn't hurt that my husband thinks it looks great, too!)
