You won’t believe it’s denim. It’s that soft, and that drapey — thanks to tinting, sandblasting and specially washing the lightweight cotton denim. Double godet insets. The indigo colorways feature goldenrod topstitching. 33.5" length. Machine washable. Imported.

I bought this skirt in black and absolutely love it - perfect with boots. Wish it came in a brown wash as well.

Fabulous Skirt!

I have been eye-ing this skirt for some time and did wait for it to go on sale. It is a great foundation piece to any wardrobe. This skirt has a flattering shape and drape, can be dressed up or down and can be worn nearly year round in our Midwest neck of the woods. Just an all around FABulous skirt! Can't wait for another sale to nab the knee length, too!

I Have Two of These Skirts

This skirt fit so well and was so comfortable that, after wearing it a year, I bought a second skirt in a different color. When told on two different occasions that I looked slimmer, I had to give credit to the lines of the skirt. I live in the NE and have worn it with boots in the winter and sandals in the summer and it goes well with both. Order a size down as it runs large.

My 2nd R&B Skirt!

I really like this skirt. I've purchased both the light and dark blue denim. It's very flattering and washes well. I always enjoy wearing it.

lovely skirt in darker denim color

Thanks to the other reviewers who warned me that women shorter than five foot six should consider ordering a petite so the skirt won't extend to the ankles! I ordered this in petite, and it's long! So do be forewarned. Great shirt to wear with knee-high boots, and the dark denim color really isn't that dark. I'm glad I went with the darker color, as I like that faded denim look but don't look good in a very light denim color.

Love this skirt!

I ordered the Rhythm and Blues Skirt in my normal size, 12, and got a Petite because I did not want it to be near the ground. And it fits absolutely fine. My first time wearing it was out antiquing, wore it with boots, and just loved the swirl of the flared skirt. Traveling from Virginia to San Francisco in a few months and this skirt will definitely be going with me!!

Not what I expected

This skirt was very cute but very heavy and too stretchy. I could have easily gone down another size. Just too much skirt.

Inconsistant sizing between colors

Ordered 2 skirts a light blue and the black--Blue fit perfectly--Black fit in the waste but was huge in the hip/rear area--Great skirt though --will reorder

Skirt -- feminine, but needs ironing

Lovely shape, and practical. Definitely order in petite unless you want an ankle-length skirt (I am 5 ft 5). Also, skirt needs lots of ironing to keep the hem from curling up.

true blue

Representing the throat chakra, blue encourages spiritual communication. This bluesy skirt opened up many lines for me! I can be comfortable when I am leading a Faculty Meeting, on the queue at the health food store, or teaching the preschoolers a new song. I should have paid attention to other reviewers, though, regarding sizing. It does run large, and I will need to do something about that. I love this skirt!

I've been wanting this skirt for years and finally bit the bullet and got it during the 15% off sale. I feel it is pretty pricey for a denim skirt, but I know that I will wear it a lot for a long time.

Great skirt but the sizing isn't consistant

From my experience with this one you need to order a size smaller in the black wash--The light denim size 6 was true to size--the black jumbo in the hip-butt area. After a frustrating round of returning/re-ordering I finally have 2 that fit and they are the best skirts ever!!!

Glad I found this skirt

It is so hard to find a long petite skirt that actually looks good. This one is just right because it is fitted around the waist and hip area but flares out at the bottom. It is a slenderizing cut. Looks cute with just about everything. The only reason I did not give 4 stars is because it is 100% cotton and a bit of stretch would be nice. It did not shrink much at all but does require a bit of ironing. I am 5'2"" and 120 lbs and ordered the 4P. It fits great. Ordered the darker blue and went back for the lighter one as soon as they went on sale. Good deal at full price because I will wear this so much. I probably did not need another one, but I could not pass it up while it was on sale! The lighter blue will be nice with pastels sweaters and summer shirts.

Love These Skirts

I love these skirts. I got all different colors for me and my sister. Only thing I didn't like was the White color skirt didn't have Territory Ahead logo on it and it fits little different. Anyway, overall I really like these skirts

Well designed skirt

I was looking for a denim skirt that would look good on a mature person without looking frumpy. Reading the reviews helped greatly. The fabric is light weight but that makes it perfect for summer. Wish the DK Inidgo was a darker color but the reviews prepared me for this. I ordered the 8 petite. The skirt is 34 inches long with a 30 inch waist. The quality of the fabric and workmanship is good but not great and that is why I rated it less than a 5. The design is what is great about this skirt.

Absolute Perfection!

After reading several other reviews on this great denim skirt, I took their advice to order a size 6 in petite (in all 4 colors!) - a very wise choice for a 5'3"" person like myself. The slimming fit is perfect, the skirt is well-made, and I really love the material's design and feel. It drapes well, and provides just enough ""swing"" when I walk. I have received many compliments. Whereas the regular blue denims are the most traditional choices, and most versatile, do note, however, the white's fabric is a tad stiffer, and the black is not a true black, but more of a dark gray. All-in-all-these are wonderful skirts!

Classic skirt

This is a classic denim skirt to wear dressed up or down. Looks great with boots or sandals, funky jewelry or scarves. I owned this skirt for about five years and lost weight, so ordered a new one. Love it.

Rhythm and Blue Denim skirt is perfect!

I purchased the darker denim and loved the fit as it has a slimming effect! Which is wonderful! I purchased the Black denim and then purchased the lighter blue denim. They look gorgeous on and are very light weight and well made. You can dress them up or be more casual. I do both! Also, they can be worn all year long, dress up with boots or wear with sandals in the summer. Cooler than denim jeans and will never go out of style. A great investment! Easy to wash and dry! They look and feel wonderful on. I feel feminine as well as comfortable in this hot Texas weather with my gorgeous Rhythm and Blue Skirts! Thank you Territory Ahead for making these beautiful skirts available. I am 5'3.5'' and purchased a medium petite; fits perfect!

Wonderful Skirt

The ONLY thing I didn't like is it doesn't have pockets. When will designers realize women need pockets too? Other than that, it is flattering, comfortable, soft, flattering, beautiful ... did I say flattering? I love it. I got the darker denim and the white. I may have to add the black next time they are on sale!

Great skirt!

I love it! I'm glad that I read the other reviews before I ordered this skirt. I got the petite and a size smaller than I normally wear and it fits perfectly. The material is very nice and drapes well. I got mine in black and may order one in another color.

love the blue denim

love the weight and style of the blue denim; ordered the black, and am a bit disappointed that it's more a light charcoal and much lighter fabric with a different fit and drape. read some reviews online, and will return it for exchange in hopes of the next one fitting more smoothly (like the blue that i wear so often now). would like to purchase more skirts in this overall shape and length.

Comfortable but short

I had been looking at this (long version) skirt for a year, and finally decided to buy it on sale. I read all the reviews, and ordered accordingly. It does run big; I ordered a size down and it's perfect. However, I am 5'9"" and usually wear a 34"" inseam. This skirt is NOT long. It is below the knee, but it falls between the knee and the ankle. Great for summer, but I am not sure it's long enough to go over boots. It is very comfortable and a perfect weight for hot days.

Perfect fit - love it!

Bought on sale, it is the right price and a good value. It fit perfectly, albeit a little longer than I might have wanted. But given that I am just over 5' it was fine. Will work with boots or sandals. Not tight in the butt - and I have one. Also fit nicely on hips, somewhat slimming. And even the waist was fine - mine is fairly small. (pear shape). I am so pleased that I might even be able to wear a tucked in shirt with this skirt for a more tailored look than I can usually wear. ONLY issue is I bought the dark indigo and it is not all that dark -- more of a medium color, regular blue jeans color.

Nice skirt but runs large

I waited all summer for this skirt to go on sale. After reading reviews I used chat to check on the length. I'm 5'7'' but I ordered a petite and the length is mid-calf. I ordered one size up because it was petite and it is too big. The waist sits on my hips which is OK but the hip flair is in the wrong place and it ruins the line. I may have to exchange it for a smaller size. Wish the size chart was more accurate. Love the skirt though.

A-W-F-U-L

After lusting after this skirt for several years, I was tickled to get it on sale, but that's where the thrill ended. Size-wise, many reviews said it ran large, and since I'm a 6-8, I ordered a 6. I was also hoping it might sit below the waist a little, since I've gotten so used to that cut. I actually found the overall fit to run true-to-slightly-smaller, but it is cut to sit AT the waist, and thus not very comfortable. It also wasn't long enough for me. I'm 5'7"" and it came to only halfway between my knee and ankle. I prefer long skirts to run 3-4"" longer than this in order to look fluid and pretty, expecially with the flared hem. At this length, the flared hem looked bulky instead of pretty. The bigger issue is with the overall look. I am average sized but this made me look enormous. Even though the fabric is thinner than typical denim, there's a lot of it! It looks bulky off AND on. Between the cut, lack of comfort, length, and overall appearance, this was truly the saddest-looking denim skirt I have ever tried on. It's going back, and I'm annoyed that it cost me $6.95 just to try it (return postage). Oh well. Live and learn.

Love this Skirt.

I purchased this skirt in the light blue and black. I'm 5'8"", and the length was perfect, not too long, not too short. The black runs more true to size, the light blue was slightly larger in the waist. It hangs really nice, very comfortable for the summer, but would also work for all seasons. The material in the blue skirt was softer than the black, but both are a really nice quality fabric. I love this skirt, am considering trying the shorter version.

A wardrobe essential!

I held off buying this because a few of the reviews were all over the map, plus when the skirt is shown just as the skirt, it isn't very inspiring, and when it's shown on your models, whom I swear must be at least 6 feet tall or more, it looks an awkward length. Well, I finally decided to get it on one of the 20% off deals, and I am delighted. I am also 5' 7"", and for me, it falls just above the ankles., and love the way it swirls. Does not emphasize my hips (a must when you're size 16), and looks great with long-sleeved knit tops, and surprisingly with some of the long linen tunic style shirts I've purchased from here. I would consider buying in corduroy, but the colors are so hard to match they won't go with most things. Give it to us in black, charcoal, or a chocolate brown, and I guarantee it will fly off the shelves!

a wardrobe staple

You will easily get your cost-per-wear from this denim skirt. It swishes nicely when you walk and is so comfortable. Like the Serenade Dress, I wear this constantly in the summer.
Yes, get a petite size! I'm 5'3" and the petite 16 reaches just above my ankles.

Best Denim Skirt Ever!

This is the BEST denim skirt ever- lightweight and feminine! Since I never wear pants or shorts, I needed an everyday skirt that could be dressed up or down with accessories. This skirt runs true to my size 12. Will be ordering another one in the dark indigo color...already have the light blue. Thanks Territory Ahead!

The Best Denim Skirt Ever!

Slimming, graceful line, easy care denim ... This is the prettiest, drapiest, best denim skirt ever! I do not ever wear pants or shorts, but still I needed an every day practical pair of "jeans" that I could dress up or down, preferring longer length skirts. This one fits the bill so perfectly that I ordered a second one right away! FYI - it comes to boot length on 5'4" me, which may be too long for some ladies or those preferring a shorter length. Best to order the same size in petite. I'm going to order a 3rd one & stash it away in case TTA stops carrying this item!

sizing issues

I ordered the darker indigo color in a size 12, and the lighter vintage color in a size 14. They are exactly the same size. I haven't worn either one yet, except to try them on. When I found they fit the same, I laid them out and measured them. They are exactly the same in every dimension. I am not sure if the 12 is a 14 or the 14 is a 12....
