Normally shy away from elastic waist, I'm glad I got this one, It has thin elastic at the waist, but it fits like a side zip skirt, which are the ones I usually choose.The colors are Beautiful. Prettiest skirt I have bought in quite awhile.

Paisley skirt

I have been wanting to buy this skirt for sometime now and it finally went on sale. i just loved the bright colors in the black multi print. when i received it however, i was just a tad disappointed as the black is what really comes out more, a little darker than i expected.
I tried it on and now I am a fan. it's very light and airy and flows so well (it kind of swirls at my lower calf).
even tho not what i was expecting i still love the fit and feel of this skirt.

Beautiful, but needs petty coat

I bought the bandana patterned skirt and the black paisley skirt.

First, I like both skirts and will keep them. The one with the bandana pattern is bright and looks just like the picture. As does the black, purple, and blue paisley one.

Cons: The waist elastic is sewn on like a half-slip - not in a casing. It doesn't roll, though; which is good.

Also, the fabric is surprising sheer on the bandana skirt. In polite company I will need to wear a petty coat - the one I have has eyelet lace that peeks out. That's a good thing because the length is about 2 inches less than the black paisley version.

The fabric of the black paisley skirt is much less sheer and would not require a slip.

Pros: The skirt fits smoothly on the hips, then flares out. So nice not to have bunched up fabric around my waist. Much cleaner look with tee shirts.
