"This is my 3rd dress, this style and I love them. I like the shelf bra for me so I hurriedly order 2 more so I could get this style before the shelf bra was discontinued! Thank you 5 stars"

"I love this dress, and I have 2 in 3/4 sleeve and 2 in sleeveless. The fabric is a nice heavyweight knit, the colors are gorgeous, and the fit is flattering. However - there's the shelf bra. Now, I am not overly endowed, but I would still not be comfortable going without a regular bra under a knit dress. The only thing this built-in bra does for me is make it more difficult to get INTO the dress and frequently trap me in the elastic when I'm trying to get OUT of it. Please, Chadwick's; lose the bra."

"I bought this in blue. I love this dress I have in 3 colors now. It's one of my favorites. It's a great dress to wear out or to work. I love it also because it comes in petite. I'm 5 feet tall. Classy petite dresses are so hard to find. Classy and elegant work best on us short ladies."

"Ordering this was easy and the dress arrived in only a few days. I love this dress and would have given it 5 stars but the color was not exactly what I expected but it is still a great comfortable dress. The raspberry color is more on a red side, I thought it would be darker. I just ordered another in black and keeping the raspberry too since I love the look, and feel of this dress. I also have this dress in a sleeveless style. It is comfortable and flattering. You can dress it up too. I like a dress you can just wear anywhere."

"I ordered this dress to wear to a casual outside wedding in December. It was a little slower in coming than I liked, but it was well worth the wait!It is made beautifully, fit perfectly, was comfortable and flattering. I love the rich shade of blue and got many compliments. I may be buying the shorter version as well."

"I am six feet tall, weigh around 130 lbs. Bust size 36C. I usually wear a size 6.Ordered this dress in black in medium and it fits perfectly. It really does go from office to dinner with a change of jewelry. Often I have to arrive ready to go after traveling, and this dress is perfect. A good pick for dress up at church or synagogue, or for performing music.I would like it if the long one had long sleeves. But I think I'm going to order the deep green and not wait for that. The fabric is very good, so is the stitching. I want it to last forever, so I have it dry cleaned."

"I have this dress in black and olive, absolutely love them. I may get a one blue too? The fabric is like a really nice sweatshirt. I put a slip under so no stick to tights. Put on boots and accessories. Can't be easier !"

"This is a repeat of my review in the shorter version of this dress. My only added comment is that this version was really long for a petite. A few more inches shorter would've worked better. I ordered this dress and loved the deep sea green and bright navy colors the colors are a little bit deeper than the photos. I am pear shaped so that said the front of the dress draped very nicely and the pleats really finish the front of the dress, the sleeves were comfortable but could stand to be a looser. The shelf bra is a pain and is easily twisted in the wrong direction. But the back of the dress left a lot to be desired. It would have been so much prettier if they continued the pleating in the back. As it is, it is plain in the back with a center seam going down the back. It also bunched in the small of the back and there was no getting around that. I sent these back."

"Chadwicks really should present back view photos as well as front. I assumed the pleats went all the way around, but they do not. The dress falls away beautifully in front but due to the stretchy fabric the back fits very close to the body and accentuates everything I'd rather not accentuate. It's going back. This fabric is about the same as a pair of mid-weight leggings."

"Love it, love it, love it!I have 3 of it's "summer cousins" that I wore all through Europe last summer, and they travel and pack beautifully. This cooler weather version is just as awesome. Wear it alone, or dressed up with a dramatic scarf. The flattering cut and material is even nicer than the summer model.Keep up the good work. This is a CLASSIC!"

"So disappointed. Fit in bust and shoulders is comfortable, but back seems made for hunchbacks. Lots of ugly rolls between shoulder blades and waist and a bump above butt. Also, would prefer this in long sleeve, not 3/4. 3/4 sleeves only look good in proportion with tops or blazers no longer than widest part of hips. Dresses and longer tops look much better with long sleeves pulled up to just above wrist, that are tight or a rolled up cuff. A straight hemmed 3/4 sleeve looks odd."

"Back in the day, Chadwicks used to have nice cotton knit dresses. Lately, almost everything has been polyster/rayon/spandex (yuck). I was happy to see this dress. It's 95% cotton and 5% spandex, and reminds me of the old styles that I used to be able to find at Chadwicks. It hangs nicely. I hope they bring out more dresses in cotton or mostly cotton blends. I got this in olive which is a nice medium olive color. I like lighter colors (don't look good in black or dark colors) so I hope they bring this or similar out in more colors."

"Quality material, quality construction, flattering fit, and classic styling are sure to make this a go-to in my closet for years to come! It will also be versatile--I see the ability to dress it up or down depending on occasion. It does cover a multitude of sins, although if you have a bit of a "tummy", you might look pregnant due to the pleated under-bust, but if you don't (or can suck it in sufficiently) it's a must-have!"

"I was concerned about the weight of the fabric at this price point, but it's a good sturdy material with a slightly silky feel. The bodice is form-fitting but with an empire waist it favors those of us who have grown a tad stout in our later years. Very slimming, and the ruby is a very rich color. I'm going to order the teal next."
